While living in Guadalajara, Lisa Suarez remembers seeing tables full of all types and flavors of empanadas line the streets around the cathedrals during, Christmas and Easter Week or Semana Santa. These flakey hand pies are packed with fruit or savory fillings. Two empanadas per selection. Mix and Match!

Savory (Seasonal) 

• Potato and Green Chile: Made with our green chile mix, a classic New Mexico hand pie. Served warm with a salad, makes for a great lunch.
• Red Chile: mosco red peppers, onion and mushroom sauteed in our market red chile spice mix.
